Beckett is currently a member of the Gloucester Academy and captains the Gloucester United side in the Aviva Premiership A league.
He was named in the Gloucester Challenge Cup squad for the pool stages of the 2017-18 competition.
In 2018, Beckett left Gloucester Rugby for Jersey Reds.
He made 41 appearances and scored two tries at the Reds. Following the early finish of the 2019/20 Championship season, he re-joined Gloucester, making two Premiership appearances.
In February 2021, he signed a deal with Championship side, Ampthil.
