Faletau has represented Tonga on three occassions. He joined Counties Manukau in 2016 from Patumahoe and has previously played at Canterbury.
Tighthead prop Faletau – who has three caps for Tonga - makes the switch from Yorkshire Carnegie having previously represented Canterbury and Counties Manukau in the ITM Cup.
In March 2017, he was signed by Bristol Rugby ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.
In his debut campaign with the club, Faletau helped Bristol a record-breaking season, achieving 21 wins out of 22.
