

The Sharks grind out a tight 18-13 win over the Jaguares after they led 8-6 at the break. The Sharks scored early in the second half to extend the lead to 15-6. Despite picking up a yellow card, it was the Jaguares who crossed for a try to get themselves back into the match as they trailed by just two points with just under a quarter to play. A late Sharks penalty extended the lead to five and that is how it finished after a tight, physical encounter.
