The Scarlets take a 21-7 lead over Edinburgh into halftime. The Scarlets ran in two tries inside the opening 15 minutes to race into a 14-0 lead. Edinburgh hit back with a try midway through the half to halve the deficit. The Scarlets then missed a penalty, but went over for try number three just after the half hour mark for a 14 point advantage at the break.
