The Leicester Tigers take an 18-5 lead over the Sale Sharks into halftime. Leicester opened the scoring with a penalty three minutes and ten minutes later scored the games first try to lead 10-0. Sale hit back with a try, but Leicester responded with another score around the midpoint of the half to make it 15-5. Leicester added a penalty five minutes from halftime for a 13 point advantage at the break.
