NZ take a 10-5 lead over Ireland into halftime. NZ picked up a yellow card 12 minutes in and Ireland capitalized with a try shortly after to lead 5-0. NZ got on the board with a penalty midway through the half. Despite minimal territory and possession, NZ hit the front with a try after 32 minutes to make it 10-5. Ireland continued to pile on the pressure as they had done throughout the half, but the All Black defence stood firm as they hold a five point advantage at the break.
