The Glasgow Warriors take a 24-17 lead over Edinburgh into halftime. Edinburgh got off to a fantastic start, with a try just 2 minutes in giving them a 7-0 lead. The sides then traded penalties before a Glasgow try midway through the half saw the scores level at ten apiece. Edinburgh then picked up a yellow card and the Warriors capitalized immediately with a try to hit the front 17-10. Despite being a player down, Edinburgh responded with a try around the half hour mark to even things up at 17-17. However, the Warriors would have the final say of the half, with a try with the final play giving them a seven point advantage at the break.
