A strong second half by the Sharks earned them a 38-30 away win over the Cheetahs after the Cheetahs led 20-15 at halftime. An early second half penalty extended the lead for the hosts to 23-15, but it was all Sharks thereafter as they crossed for two tries and kicked three penalties to lead 38-23. The Cheetahs managed a consolation score late on, but it was too little too late as the Sharks secured the victory.
