A strong ball carrying hooker Sekonaia Pole represented the New Zealand Schoolboys side.
He went on to represent Otago in the Mitre 10 Cuo, before he was called into the Highlanders squad during the 2017 Super Rugby season and made his debut against the Crusaders.
He would continue to represent Otago up to 2019 before signing for Japanese Top League side Shining Arcs.
