A former Springbok and Blitzboks back, Ricardo Laubscher enjoyed a 10-year long career at the highest level.
He featured for the likes of the Sharks, Eastern Province, Bulls and the Cats.
He also featured for the Blitzboks at a Sevens Rugby World Cup as well as a Rugby World Cup in 2003 with the Springboks.
Following his retirement, Laubscher has moved into coaching.
He was the Attack & Backline for the Springboks under Heyneke Meyer between 2012 and 2015 and linked up with the Sharks immediately afterwards.
He had a stint with Stade Francais during the 2019/20 season before joining the new Lions coaching staff as the backline, attack and skills coach in September 2021.
