A former NZ schoolboy representative Regan Ware debuted for the New Zealand 7s side during the 2015 Dubai Sevens tournament.
He was selected for the New Zealand 7s squad for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
He left Waikato at the end of the 2015 season and joined Bay of Plenty.
