Blake, originally from Talybont, Powys, enjoyed notable successes since joining Bedwas RFC from Bedlinog RFC.
In October 2016, he was awarded the Principality Building Society ‘Player of the Month’ award and he also featured for the Dragons in their LV Cup game against Leicester Tigers.
Blake, a talented cricketer who has played for Ebbw Vale CC during his youth signed a dual deal between the Bridge Field and the Dragons in 2016/17 that will become a professional contract with the Dragons in 2017-18.
Blake has featured for the Dragons under new head coach Bernard Jackman at the start of the 2017-18 Pro 14 campaign.
