Orlando Bailey is an English professional rugby union player who currently plays for Bath in the Gallagher Premiership. He began his rugby journey as a child at Dorchester RFC before joining the Bath academy at the age of fourteen. In September 2020, he made his club debut for Bath in a league game against Worcester Warriors.
Having grown up in the region, Bailey has always had a strong affinity for Bath Rugby. He has displayed his skills and talents throughout his progression in the Bath Rugby pathway, showcasing delicate footwork, special awareness, and creative kicking abilities.
He attended Beechen Cliff School and has excelled both as a student and as a player in the Bath Rugby system.
Bailey seized his opportunity to shine during the 2020/21 season, stepping up as the starting fly-half due to injuries. His measured and calculated approach to the game, along with his dedication to improving his skills, has made him one of the standout talents in the Premiership.
Recognized for his versatility and adaptability, Bailey was a key contributor to England Under-20s' success in winning the U20 Six Nations title in 2021.
His performances earned him a call-up to Eddie Jones' England squad for the 2022 Six Nations, where he embraced the opportunity to learn from experienced players and further develop his game.
