The powerful Georgian prop signed for the Chiefs in March 2023 from club side RC Kochebi.
Renowned for his scrummaging in particular, the Tbilisi-born loosehead was brought to Devon by Chiefs Director of Rugby, Rob Baxter, who was looking to add some strength to his pack of forwards, particularly in the set-piece.
Some notable displays for his country, including a dynamic performance off the bench against Wales in the Autumn Internationals of 2022, highlighted what an asset he could be for the Devonians.
He made his first-team debut for the club, coming off the bench in Exeter's Heineken Champions Cup victory over Montpellier in April 2023.
Ahead of the Rugby World Cup 2023, Abuladze has been named in the squad for Georgia.
