Nia earned her first cap as second half replacement for captain Rachel Taylor in the narrow 10-12 defeat against Ireland in the opening round of the 2013 Six Nations.
After playing in the 2014 Women's World Cup in France, the Scarlets Under 18 Player of the Season for 2010/11 took a break from international rugby before returning to the Wales squad for the 2016 Six Nations.
She was then recalled for the 2017 Six Nations tournament.
