Where are they now: Nick Evans
- 2700
Former All Blacks first five-eighth Nick Evans chats to Blues hooker Kurt Eklund about his illustrious playing career in both New Zealand and the United Kingdom, what he is up to now and much more.
Evans announced his retirement from rugby in April 2017 after leading Quins to the Premiership title in 2012.
He played 14, 693 minutes of rugby, and amassed a Harlequins club record of 2,217 points across 30 tries, 309 conversions, 476 penalties and seven drop goals.
Following his retirement from the game, Evans joined Harlequins coaching team as Attack Coach for the 2017/18 season.
He waved goodbye in his final match there in a 32-13 win over Wasps in 2017, in which he scored 22 points.
Inducted into the Premiership hall of fame in 2019 alongside Harlequins’ World Cup-winning prop Jason Leonard, he holds a strong claim to be the greatest ever Premiership import.
