Watch: Springbok powered Sharks scrum
- 1750
The Sharks welcomed their Springboks back this past weekend when they took on Glasgow Warriors at Kings Park Stadium, and they made an immediate impact.
While Eben Etzebeth put in a man-of-the-match performance on debut, the likes of Ox Nche, Bongi Mbonambi, Siya Kolisi, and Makazole Mapimpi made notable impacts off the bench.
In fact, The Sharks were leading 13-12 before head coach Sean Everitt introduced his internationals with the hosts going on to win the match 40-12 thanks partly to the performance of the bench.
In the 66th minute, the front row of Nche, Mbonambi and new signing Carlu Sadie flex their muscles by securing a good old tighthead turnover at the scrum.

The ensuing attack ended with the Glasgow forcing the Sharks into touch but the sheer sight of the visitor's Scottish internationals being driven off their own ball will send a clear warning to the rest of the league.
