Montpellier cemented their place behind Bordeaux on the Top 14 standings on Saturday with a 29-12 victory over Pau.
Philippe Saint-André's side scored four tries in the bonus-point win with Springbok scrumhalf Cobus Reinach bagging three for himself and Wallabies hooker Brandon Paenga-Amosa scoring the fourth.
Reinach has now scored seven tries in the League this season and has assisted a further three. Only Bordeaux's Ulupano Seuteni has scored more tries than Reinach this season.
Montpellier got off to a slow start with Reinach scoring the first points in the 30th minute after a well-worked lineout move.
He grabbed his second in the 44th minute before completing his hattrick after the hour mark.
