Watch: Bismarck du Plessis red carded for horror tip tackle

Former Springbok hooker Bismarck du Plessis was sent off in the United Rugby Championship between the Bulls and Munster on Saturday.
The 37-year-old could be facing a long ban after his 70th-minute dangerous tip tackle on Munster No 8, Alex Kendellen.
The veteran hooker picked Kendellen up at a ruck, lifted him up over his shoulder and then tossed him over in what can best be described as a move straight out of the WWE.

Speaking after the game, Bulls coach Jake White defended his hooker.
“I don’t think it was malicious. I don’t think it was dirty. I can’t see that as a high tackle or hitting someone on the head,” White said.
“At the end of the day, [Kendellen] was almost diving over him. He [Du Plessis] was a bit silly. He should have held the guy up and put him back on the ground.
“I hope common sense will prevail. I was going to start him on Wednesday against the Sharks, so hopefully, we get that sanction sooner rather than later.”
