Wales v England | Key Moments

England made history today by beating Wales 68-14, the Englishmen were just too good for Wales. 

Here are some of the key moments ffom the game. 

2’ Enlgand win the penalty and kick for touch, they setup a lineout and maul it, the maul breaks down just before the line and Captain Itoje sees the small gap and goes over the line.

9’ A cutout pass from Fin Smith to Tom Roebuck who breaks a tackle and scores in the corner

21’ England give a chip and lose the ball, Wales are on the attack, and they chip over the England defence with no one home, Murray catches it and is through on goal but Dicky ankle taps him to save a try.


29’ Wales get a penalty in front of the poles but opted to kick for touch, they setup a lineout and they manage to get multiple penalty infringements, they skip the pod and play 12 who scores easily.

33’ From the restart Wales were unable to get out of their 22 and lost the ball, England hit them on the attack with a cross-kick pass, they manage to recycle the ball and swing it out wide again and Freeman walks it in.


44’ Blair Murray chases down a kick which is spilled by Marcus, he kicks it forward and England win the footrace and ground the ball on their try line for a 5m Wales scrum. Wales disappointingly lose the scrum.

48’ Wales swing the ball out wide and get 5m from the tryline, the Roebuck sucks in 2 defenders and offloads, but Aaron Wainright knocks it on.

54’ The ball comes off Daly’s head as he goes in to make a tackle, Mitchell kicks the loose ball down field and chases it,  it bounces perfectly for him as he goes over the line.

66’ A cutout pass from George Ford to debutant Henry Pollock gives the 20 year old his first test try.
