The Queensland Rugby Union has continued to build its squad for the 2018 season with the re-signing of loose forward Caleb Timu, while Australian U20s second-row pair Angus Blyth and Harry Hockings.
Timu and Blyth have signed through 2018, while Hockings will be at the club until at least 2020.
While yet to make his Super Rugby debut, Timu (23) has impressed during his appearances in Queensland Premier Rugby this year, while diligently making his way back from a knee injury.
Timu joins a healthy stable of loose forwards already committed for the 2018 season, including George Smith, Scott Higginbotham, Adam Korczyk, Reece Hewat and Michael Gunn.
Blyth (19) and Hockings (18) are both products of the Queensland Rugby pathway and were members of the undefeated Queensland U20s side which claimed its second successive national title earlier this year.
The pair have also recently returned from representing Australia at the World Rugby U20s Championship in Georgia.
The Reds’ lock stocks for 2018 also include Kane Douglas, Lukhan Tui and Izack Rodda.
