Toulon Season Review

Toulon claimed a spot in the Top 14 playoffs following their victory over Bordeaux on the weekend. They will, however, need a victory over Pau to cement their 4th place finish.

The club from the South of France has a wealth of experience to call upon when it comes to the playoffs with the likes of Bryan Habana, Drew Mitchell, Ma'a Nonu, Juan Smith, Vincent Clerc, Matt Giteau and Francois Trinh-Duc who have all represented their respective countries in World Cup Finals.  

The reliable boot of Leigh Halfpenny will be a vital weapon in the Toulon arsenal, with the fullbacks boot proving to be a match winner in the past. 

Toulon has the 3rd best defence in the league conceding just under 2 tries per game and they have scored the 4th most points (642).
