The Munster outhalf earned himself a man of the match award with a commanding performance throughout, despite a disappointing result for Munster. In a dominant first half, Bleyendaal secured vital field position with an incredibly accurate boot putting his side on the front foot time and time again. When the time came the speed and accuracy of his distribution put Munster in for some lovely tries.

McNicholl played a crucial role in Scarlets' come back in Thomond Park scoring the stand out try of the game. He proved a constant threat in the Scarlets backline using his pace to great effect. The fullback prevented near certain Munster tries with some great covering play and impressed under the high ball. A solid performance.
Darren Sweetnam
Sweetnam delivered an outstanding performance off the wing and was involved throughout the game. In the first half he was the target man on the wing, crossing in the corner to finish a superb try. He caused problems for the Scarlets defence with some impressive footwork.
