Jeff Williams extends contract with Bath Rugby
Bath Rugby have confirmed that Jeff Williams has extended his current contract with the Club until the end of this season.
He joined Bath Rugby from England Sevens at the start of the 2015/16 season. Full story
Thomas du Toit signs new Sharks deal until 2019
Sharks prop Thomas du Toit has signed a new deal that will see him commit to the club until 2019.
Du Toit joined The Sharks Academy just after playing representative rugby at Under 16 and Under 18 age group level for Western Province and then gaining selection to SA Schools. Full story
CJ Stander signs new three-year deal
Munster and Ireland international No.8 CJ Stander has signed a three year IRFU contract to remain at Munster until June 2021.
The 27-year-old made his debut for Munster against the Scarlets in November 2012 and has won 105 caps for his province scoring 32 tries. Full story
Southern Kings set to host a PRO14 match in East London
The Southern Kings are set to host a Pro14 match in East London, while also facing Munster at Outeniqua Park in George on 7 April, reports SARugbyMag.
According to HeraldLIVE, poor crowd attendances in Port Elizabeth have contributed to the Kings' desire to explore hosting matches in new areas. Full story
Cian Healy suspended for three weeks
Leinster prop Cian Healy has been suspended for three weeks following an incident of foul play during his side's 22-17 win over Exeter Chiefs in Dublin.
The committee upheld the citing complaint as it determined that Healy's act of foul play warranted a red card. It found that the offence was at the low end of World Rugby's sanctions and two weeks was selected as the appropriate entry point. Full story
