Tahs win Aussie grudge-fest

Defending champions, the Waratahs put up an impressive defensive performance to squeak past the Brumbies 13-10 in their Vodacom Super Rugby derby match on Friday.


In the process the Tahs closed the gap at the top of the Australian conference to one point and are in the driving seats with a game in hand the race to be Australia’s top rugby team starts coming down to the wire.


Both sides scored a try but it was the resolve of the Tahs away from home that allowed them to complete the double against their nearest rivals on a night where inches made the difference between the two sides.
