Tadhg Beirne has been ruled out of Ireland’s first two Six Nations fixtures with a knee injury.

Beirne sustained the injury towards the end of the Munster win over Exeter this past weekend. Roux has been called up in his place and will join the Irish squad in Portugal for camp.

Adam Byrne has also been called up for cover after a seemingly minor injury to Andrew Conway

Jack Conan, Rob Kearney and prop Jack McGrath all remain in Ireland for further treatment but remain part of the squad
