Super Rugby Final Highlights: Hurricanes v Lions

What an absolute master class by the Hurricanes as again they defend their line and do not concede a try against a very determined Lions outfit. Heartbreak for the visitors who gave their all but, the Hurricanes gave more. Barrett again with a stand out performance as he lead the line superbly. The Lions had plenty of opportunities and did well to push the Hurricanes on defense but , that was a wall that just refused to be knocked down. The Hurricanes were resolute on defense and ultimately that is what got them to the final and the victory that got them their very first Super Rugby title. Congratulations to both sides for what can be said was a successful campaign for both franchises but, the night belongs to the Hurricanes who will no doubt celebrate into to the late hours of the night. The Hurricanes bid farewell to a special player in Victor Vito, who has been an absolute stalwart for the Canes as he leaves the franchise after playing 100 times for the Hurricanes.
