Simon McIntyre set to join old club

Last week, it was announced by Wasps that stalwart forward Simon McIntyre would be leaving the club, though his next step was unclear. 

Now, it has become apparent that the 30 year-old has struck a deal with his old club, Sale Sharks. 

McIntyre recently notched up his 184th cap for Wasps and his presence will be sorely missed by the club. 

McIntyre last turned out for Sale a decade ago before joining up with Wasps and the former well no doubt be grateful to have his skill and physicality back within their ranks.
