Burgess to Zebre: Pro 12 side Zebre have announced the capture of current Melbourne Rebel Luke Burgess. The Australian scrum-half will move to Italy on a 2 year deal after finishing the season with the Rebels. This will be Burgess' 5th club after playing for the Brumbies, Waratahs, Toulouse and current cub Rebels. Burgess joins Mils Muliana in becoming a high profile player moving to the Parma based side.
Newcastle sign Tonga Skipper: Premiership side Newcastle Falcons have added Tonga captain Nilu Latu to their squad for next season. 33-year-old Latu will join the Falcons from Japanese side NEC Green Rockets, where he has played since 2007. Latu has played 42 times for Tonga and will bring great firepower and depth to the Falcons. This is the 8th signing from Falcons and Latu becomes the 3rd Tongan signed by Dean Richards along with Sonatane Takulua and Taione Vea.
