QUIZ: Can you name the players with the most all time appearances in the Six/Five Nations?
- 6240
The Premier Rugby Tournament in Europe, the Six Nations is one of the most, if not the most, anticipated events on the yearly rugby calendar!
The competition was first played all the way back in 1883 as the Home Nations Championship among the four Home Nations — England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. France joined the tournament which became the Five Nations Championship in 1910 before Italy were finally added when the tournament was expanded in 2000 to become the Six Nations Championship.
Today, we see if you can name the most capped players in the competition's history.
Instructions: After clicking 'Play' simply type the name of a player that you think is on the list. If correct, the answer will automatically enter the list. If the answer is incorrect, nothing will happen and you'll need to erase what you've written and try again.
The player's surname will suffice while we have also added some abbreviations for the more difficult names to spell.
Let us know how you did on Facebook but don't give any of the answers away.
* Note the totals are accurate as of the 2020 Six Nations clash between Scotland and France.
