Leinster
1. Jack McGrath - 7/10
Solid at scrum time, made good ground with ball in hand.
Wasps
1. Matt Mullan – 6/10
Up against Tadhg Furlong it was a hard ask. Wasn’t totally outclassed in the scrum as he won a couple of penalties.
2. Tommy Taylor – 5/10
Wasps lineout didn’t go well today and as a hooker you will always be held partly accountable for that.
3. Jake Cooper-Woolley – 5/10
Looked to be under a lot more pressure on his side of the scrum, up against Jack McGrath. Was replaced by Moore as a result.
4. Joe Launchbury – 5/10
Lost the lineout battle with Toner. Gave away a couple of uncharacteristic penalties.
5. Kearnan Myall – 5/10
Very quiet day at the office for the second row.
6. James Haskell – 5/10
Gave away a lot of stupid penalties which gave Leinster good field position. Lucky to escape a card for the amount of times Owens had to pull him up.
7. Thomas Young – 6/10
Was rather perplexing that he was taken off after he made some decent tackles on the danger man Carbery in defence. Did have a couple of knock-ons though so won’t be happy with himself.
8. Nathan Hughes – 5/10
Went into contact too high on a few occasions, getting held up by the Leinster defence. Gave away silly penalties for being offside in the second half.
9. Dan Robson – 6/10
Played with a great intensity when he was on the field but was limited in what he could do when his pack weren’t performing in front of him.
10. Danny Cipriani – 4/10
Was walked over in defence, threw the ball away in attack and kicked the ball horribly out of hand. One to forget for the out-half.
11. Willie Le Roux – 4/10

Extremely quiet all day except for that almighty slip up when he dropped the ball as he dived for the line in the first half.
12. Jimmy Gopperth – 7/10
Should have taken on more responsibility in the first half when he saw Cipriani was struggling, by standing in at first receiver. Fantastic second half performance which got Wasps back in the game, characterised by a brilliant solo try.
13. Elliot Daly – 5/10
Very average performance from the man that is in contention for a Lions place. Tackled well but definitely lost his matchup against Ringrose.
14. Christian Wade - 7/10
Scored a fantastic solo try with a brilliant grubber and chase. Defended well but his opportunities to get into the game were limited by men inside him performing poorly.
15. Kurtley Beale - 7/10
The former Australian international was a shining light in what was probably Wasps’ worst performance of the season. He was a threat any time he got the ball, running it from his own 22 many times throughout the game. No surprise that Leinster limited the amount of ball they kicked to him.
REPLACEMENTS
16. Ashley Johnson (49') – 6/10
Definitely changed things when he came on. Good cut-out pass to Wade which set him up for his score.
17. Simon McIntyre (55') - 5/10
18. Marty Moore (49') - 5/10
19. Matt Symons (49') – 5/10
Poor handling skills for the short amount of time he was on the field.
20. Alex Rieder (75') - N/A
21. Joe Simpson (49') – 6/10
No characteristic breaks from the scrum-half when he entered the fray today.
22. Alapati Leiua (55') - 6/10
23. Josh Bassett (75') – N/A
Coach - Dai Young – 5
Really got his team selection and gameplan wrong today. Almost turned things around in the second half by putting Gopperth at 10 but it was too late at that stage.
