- 1571
An extremely entertaining game between Montpellier and Edinburgh came to an end with the home side winning the encounter 21-15.
Here are our Top Performers from the clash:
Louis Picamoles - Montpellier
A man of the match performance by Picamoles as he continues to merit a recall to the test squad.
He was brilliant on attack and defence making 20 tackles and 8 carries.
He scrambled well a few times to stop a few threating attacks by Edinburgh and linked up well on attack.
He topped the tackling charts in the clash and no other forward made more metres than the loose forward.

Ruan Pienaar - Montpellier
Another stellar performance by the former Springbok as he marshalled his side to victory.
Pienaar started at flyhalf for his side and put in a fantastic shift assisting two tries before reverting to his natural position later in the game.
He showed off his footwork to set his fellow countryman Henry Immelman up for the first try of the game before sending a pinpoint kick of to Ngandebe later in the half.
Villiame Mata - Edinburgh
Mata was almost impossible to stop in this clash as he made carry after carry constantly testing the Montpellier defence.
He was involved in just about everything good his side did and was unfortunate to leave the field injured in the 67th minute.
He finished the game with 52 running metres from his 20 carries and a try assist.
Blari Kinghorn - Edinburgh
Another standout performance by the young Edinburgh fullback as he carved up 120 running metres.
He was a regular threat on the counter-attack and found a few holes in the Montpellier defence.
He was also calm and collected at the on defence and enjoyed a good game with the boot as well.
Nico Janse van Rensburg - Montpellier
A strong performance by the busy second-rower as he made the second highest number of tackles in the game.
He was aggressive at the ruck and tackle areas and showed a superb turn of pace to break through the Edinburgh defence in the build up to Ngandebe's try.
