Paul O’Connell tribute by Jack McGrath

Ireland prop Jack McGrath paid tribute to Paul O’Connell after the second row’s tournament was ended early through injury.

"It's amazing to have played with him. He's such a normal bloke as well and anytime you had any questions, he's very easy to talk to,” McGrath said.

"He's really a true warrior and a massive loss.”

Ireland can expect to be roared on by another bumper crowd this Sunday against Argentina, with McGrath hailing the supporters for the noise they’ve made so far.

"It was like nothing I've ever, ever experienced,” he revealed.

"Coming in on the bus, the crowds were 10, 15 people deep, banging on the bus, seeing people you know in the crowds, it gees you up - definitely - and coming back to Cardiff this week I can't see that being too much difference with the crowds and support.”
