Ospreys Supporters Club player of the month: Keelan Giles
- 1454
Being called up to the senior tour of New Zealand without having played a single game for the Ospreys, Keelan Giles' rise to prominence in the last few weeks has been nothing short of incredible.
An attacking threat and strong defender, the 18-year-old grabbed a try for the Ospreys off the bench on his debut, against Treviso, two when he started in the win over Newcastle Falcons, a hat-trick in Lyon and two tries against the Dragons.
That’s eight tries in his first four outings for the Ospreys, which is a remarkable start to a regional career.
The youngster has taken his opportunity in Europe and the Pro12 in his stride, scoring five excellent tries in October and also proving himself in defence with some last ditch try saving tackles – resulting in him being invited to train with the Welsh squad in preparation for the Autumn Internationals.
