Tom Stephenson breaks leg in friendly match
Northampton centre Tom Stephenson will be out of action for several months after breaking his leg in two places in a friendly against Rotherham Titans.
"A lot of people asking what I've done. I have snapped my tibia and fibia (hence the loud crack) but I've had an operation this morning and feeling a lot better, thanks for the support, it's been amazing, and I'll be back soon," wrote Stephenson on his Twitter account.
Stephenson, who missed a large part of last season with a foot problem, underwent an operation on the injury the morning after the game.
