Lovejoy Chawatama signs extention with London Irish

Lovejoy Chawatama is the latest player to commit his future to London Irish.

The Zimbabwe-born ,24, tight-head initially joined Irish earlier this year from London Welsh until the end of the season, but has now agreed a new deal following a series of impressive performances.

 
"Ever since I joined the club in January, I've really enjoyed the experience of playing for London Irish and Forwards Coach George Skivington has been great to work with,” said Chawatama.

   
Exiles Director of Rugby Nick Kennedy said: "Lovejoy has considerably bolstered our front row since joining us, and I'm pleased to have secured his services beyond this season.
   
"His formidable physique and dynamic ball-carrying ability are key ingredients of his game and will significantly improve the squad.”
