Injury ends Tomane’s season

Brumbies winger Joe Tomane has been ruled out of action for the remainder of the Super Rugby season after x-rays revealed a fractured bone in his lower leg.

Tomane was playing club rugby on Saturday in his first match back following a knee injury which he suffered against the Crusaders in round nine.

The 26-year-old received a low tackle just below his injured knee, forcing him out of the field.

He is expected to be out of all Rugby action for at least eight weeks.
