Highlights: Leicester Tigers v Bath Rugby
- 1551
What a game we had Welford Road with Bath claiming there first win here in a number of years. Leicester went into an early lead after a try by Tuilagi on his return to fitness. Bath hit back with two tries from Clark and one from Rokoduguni which made the score 21-8 at HT.
Bath continued their dominance in the second half and Priestland added a couple of penalties to extend their lead. Unfortunately the referee became frustrated with repeated high tackles from the visitors and dismissed Fotuali'i and Garvey to the sin bin as a result. This allowed the Tigers back into the game with two tries from Jonny May. They had an opportunity to win it at the death with a lineout 10m out after another Bath dismissal, this time of Banahan. The visitors managed to steal the ball and thus record a famous victory in Leicester.
