O'Shea waiting on Roberts: Harlequins Directer of Rugby has said negotiations for Jamie Roberts are out of his hands as he awaits an answer from the Welsh international. The centre has possible suitors for him next season in Ospreys, Cardiff Blues and Quins. O'Shea has said it would be a huge statement from Quins to sign a player of Roberts' calibre and is hoping a deal can be thrashed out. Harlequins have already added to their midfield with Samoan Winston Stanley coming in from Super Rugby.
ARU announce new deals: ARU have announced the resigning of experienced forwards James Slipper and Rob Simmons. The 2 forwards have bucked the recent of trend of Australians heading to Europe with Slipper signing till 2018 and Simmons extending to 2017. This announcement comes after the ARU announcing days ago their new policy of players with over 60 caps can move abroad and still be picked for the Wallabies. The two togetherter have racked up a combined 113 caps and this should prove to be an important signing for Michael Cheika's Wallabys in the future.
