New Zealand Rugby and the Rugby league side Warriors have reached an agreement in their dispute about Etene Nanai-Seturo's future with the teenage sensation now free to play rugby union.
Following mediation, the two camps resolved the situation arising from the 18-year-old's decision to leave the Warriors and sign with NZR.
Under the agreement, Nanai-Seturo has been released from all his obligations to the Warriors, with whom he had signed a deal when still at school in Auckland, with all terms and conditions of the release to be kept confidential.
Nanai-Seturo has already played for the All Blacks Sevens and could make the squad for the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.
While the Chiefs have reportedly been interested in signing the youngster on a Super Rugby contract.
