Garry Ringrose to miss opening 6 Nations matches
Leinster and Ireland centre Garry Ringrose will miss out on the last two rounds of Leinster's Champions Cup campaign and the first two rounds of the Six Nations for Ireland through injury.
The 22-year-old is suffering syndesmosis of the ankle which will see him miss approximately six weeks of rugby.
Isa Nacewa, Josh van der Flier, and Dan Leavy suffered the same injury and were out of action for six weeks before Christmas, while Barry Daly was out for nine weeks.
This is the second injury-enforced break for the young centre who has just worked his way back from shoulder surgery in the summer to play four matches when an awkward fall, in his fifth game, forced him off the field against Ulster.
