Seb Davies will make his 150th appearance for the club as Cardiff host Emirates Lions in a crucial BKT United Rugby Championship clash on Friday night (19:35 KO).
The second-row, who made his first team debut back in 2014-15 season, is one of two changes to the starting line-up that secured a try-scoring bonus-point against unbeaten Leinster in the last round URC of action.
Davies replaces Rory Thornton, while Alex Mann pulls on the number seven jersey, with Thomas Young dropping to the replacements bench.
The Blue & Blacks go into the encounter sitting sixth in the URC table with the Lions two points behind in eighth.
Head coach Matt Sherratt said: “It’s an important game, which will go some way to deciding which path we go down of the rest of the season.
“It’s a tight league table and you can go from third to 12th in a couple of weeks, so it is important to pick up points at home.
“It’s good to get some of the Wales boys back, and they give our squad a little bit more strength in depth.
“The team have prepared well and I know everyone is looking forward to getting back to the Arms Park, in front of a loud and passionate home crowd.”
Cardiff have also been boosted by the return of four international stars with Keiron Assiratti, Teddy Williams, James Botham and Ellis Bevan named on the replacements bench. Corey Domachowski has also recovered from injury to provide the loose-head cover.
