Cuthbert set to depart Cardiff

Former British & Irish Lion Alex Cuthbert is set to depart Cardiff Blues at the end of the season when his contract expires at the club, according to the BBC.

Cuthbert is likely to cut his international career short after an impressive 16 tries in 47 appearances as he will fall under the 60-cap eligibility rule for selection when playing outside of the Welsh regions.

The identity of his next club remains unclear but reports suggest he could be on his way to the Premiership or France.

The 47-times capped Welsh international has played 8 times in the Guinness Pro 14 this season and once for his country against Georgia during the Autumn Internationals.
