Cokanasiga's injury sours Bath's derby victory

Bath head coach Todd Blackadder has eased concerns over star winger Joe Cokanasiga’s fitness after he was forced off at half-time of their bonus point derby victory over Bristol (26-19).
The winger injured his shoulder while scoring on his side's four tries and was in obvious pain, despite the fact that he opted to play on. A medical check at half time ended his game.

After picking up the bonus-point win boss Todd Blackadder said: "Joe has an ac joint injury, it was a good whack, it is just really sore.
"These things can turn around quickly or take a while. You can see he's a bit gingerly, but hopefully it's not too bad.
"But that win was massive for us in the context of the season - we needed five points. We want to be competing for silverware and the Champions Cup and that is what it is all about."
🗣 | Todd Blackadder, "It was a massive day with over 60,000 supporters here. After all the work that has gone into it, we wanted to back it up with a really good performance. To get five points here today, we have got to be really pleased with that." 🔵⚫️⚪️ pic.twitter.com/NPjEGMSAJW
