Chiefs struggle past 14-man Force

The Chiefs continued their winning ways with a workmanlike, if scratchy, 35-27 win against a 14-man Western Force side in their Vodacom Super Rugby match in Hamilton on Friday.
The Force had to play the majority of the match without halfback Ian Prior, sent off for a nasty tip-tackle, but played their way back into the contest in the second half as the Chiefs went off the boil.
The home side could only cross the line three times with their numerical advantage, but were also awarded a penalty try to give them the bonus point on offer.
