Chiefs Injury Update

The Chiefs have had their fair share of injuries during the opening rounds of Super Rugby and ahead of their clash with the Blues on Friday they were deal two late blows with Brodie Retallick and Shaun Stevenson withdrawing from the starting XV with injuries they picked up in the warm-up.
Their injuries woes got worse when Nepo Laulala left the field clutching his arm.
The Chiefs have since released an injury update:
Shaun Stevenson – injured his knee in the warm-up and will be assessed this week
Nepo Laulala – fractured forearm requiring surgery and is expected to be out for 8-12 weeks
Brodie Retallick – withdrew from Friday’s match after getting a poke in the eye at training. He has completely recovered and will be available for selection next week
Atunaisa Moli – had complications from a quad hematoma which required surgery. Atu has been ruled out for the season.
Tim Nanai-Williams – had surgery on Friday to stabilise his shoulder. Tim has been ruled out for the season.
