Cheetahs Announce 2018/19 Squads

Cheetahs coach Franco Smith has confirmed his preliminary squad for the both the upcoming Currie Cup and PRO14 seasons.
The Free State Cheetahs will open their 2018 Currie Cup campaign by playing against the 4 strongest teams in the first four weeks of the competition.
The side will be captained by Springbok flanker Oupa Mohoje, while former Bulls scrumhalf Rudy Paige has signed a permanent deal with the Bloemfontein-based side.
JP du Preez (lock), Louis Conradie (lock), Walt Steenkamp (lock), Benhard Janse van Rensburg (utility back), Louis Fouché (flyhalf), Tian Schoeman (flyhalf), Ruben de Haas (scrumhalf), Aidon Davis (looseforward), Adriaan Carelse (fullback) and Dries Swanepoel (centre) are amoung the new faces joining the squad.
