Canada Women to play Fiji in final World Cup Warm-up

Canada will have one last tune-up before touching down in New Zealand for the upcoming Rugby World Cup.
The Senior Women’s side will spend a week in Fiji, culminating in a full test match on the September 24th weekend at the National Stadium in Suva. While the two sides have often clashed in the shortened code, Canada have never faced Fijiana in the XV-a-side game.
The Canadians will be comfortable favorites to win given their No4 ranking compared to 21st for their opponents. Fiji qualified for their first ever World Cup appearance by winning the Oceania Championship at Lautoka in 2019. They will compete in Pool C against England, France, and South Africa.
