Australia win tight series

The series was played over three games during breaks in the IRB men’s Sevens World Series at Gold Coast in Queensland (where the 2018 Commonwealth Games will be held). Game one, on Saturday morning, set the tone for the series. Australia took an early lead but Canada pulled level before half-time, before going on to win 17-12. In Game two in the afternoon, Canada made six changes, and initially went 12-0 down before coming back strongly, narrowly losing by the same score as they had won the opening game.Read more about Australia win tight series
