2018 June Test Series: First test - Argentina v Wales

Wales got their two test tour of Argentina off to the perfect start as they ground out a 23-10 win in the June Internationals. Argentina opened the scoring with an early penalty, but Wales hit back with two tries to lead 14-3. Wales added a penalty just before halftime to take a 17-3 lead into the break. An early second half penalty extended Wale's advantage to 20-3. Both sides had chances thereafter but failed to capitalize due to some solid defence. The Welsh line was finally breached as Argentina crashed over with 3 minutes remaining to make it 20-10, but Wales would have the final say with a penalty to seal the match to go 1-0 up in the series
